Yoga Classes Now at Avenues!

Avenues Physio-fitness is excited to announce Gaynor Wilkie, qualified yoga instructor, is joining our team. Classes commence Wednesday 11th April at 5:30pm and spaces are limited. These classes are designed for any age and ability and no previous yoga experience is required. Yoga has many proven beneifts including improving flexibility, muscle strength and tone, improving respiration, improved athletic performance and enhaced respiratory and cardiovascular health. Avenues Physio-Fitness is delighted to continue their relationship with Tauranga Hockey through the 2018 season. We are passionate about maintaining enjoyment through hockey for all athletes, and to achieve this it is important that athletes are fit and ready to start their season. For a dynamic sport such as hockey, this includes correct movement patterns as well as strength, endurance fitness, speed and flexibility.

Avenues Physio-Fitness will support all Tauranga Hockey players with free initial ACC consultations throughout your hockey season. Preferential ACC follow-up rates also apply. We are also happy to provide free second opinions on ACC injuries that have been treated at other clinics.
