In 2018 Avenues Physio Fitness is sponsoring athletes of all ages and abilities who strive to achieve extra-ordinary goals.


Amy has recently achieved one of her major goals, being named in the Blacksticks Women's squad for 2017. We couldn't be prouder of you Amy, your hard work and dedication has finally paid ofAmy Robinsonf. Amy is an outstanding 21 year old athlete who has represented NZ at hockey, beach volleyball and athletics. She recently came 3rd in Senior Womens 400m and 2nd in both 4x100m and 4x 400m relays at the NZ National Athletics event. In 2016, she was named as Junior Sportswoman of the year at the Bay of Plenty Sports Awards. 

Avenues Physio-Fitness is proud to sponsor Amy for the 4th year. We are hoping that with our injury management, Pilates and strengthening programs, Amy can continue to achieve all of her future goals. 


Siennah is a 19 year old very talented hockey player. She has recently moved to Hamilton for University and to further her hockey training opportunities while representing Midlands Hockey. Siennah has recently been selected as a member of the Midland's under 21 Women's team who are defending National Champions from 2017. Siennah was also a member of this champion team.  Siennah loves how hockey challenges her both physically and mentally, while involving strategy, speed and being involved with a tight team network. 

Hockey has been Siennah's main sport since she was 5 and she dreams of the highest honor of representing her country. Her immediate goals is a focus on a successful National Under 21's campaign and to be selected in the Midlands NHL team in the near future. Siennah has been awarded with a developing athlete sponsorship from Avenues Physio-Fitness for the 2018/19 year to help her achieve these goals. 


Kelly Hudson is a International Hockey Umpire on the FIH World Panel. 

A former age-group representative hockey player, Kelly started umpiring while still at school and enjoyed the challenge that a different perspective of the game provided.

Previous achievements include appointment to: London and Rio Olympic Games, World Cup, Commonwealth Games, World League and Champions Trophy events, as well as qualifying events and Continental Championships around the world. This experience and hard work at world level competitions has allowed Kelly to develop consistent performances - both on-field and with video umpire capabilities.

Kelly is the recent recipient of the Sport BOP Official of the Year, Hockey NZ Umpire of the Year and her passion for the game extends to contributions both nationally and locally as an umpire coach, role model and mentor, and she holds a part time position as Officiating Development Officer for Tauranga Hockey. This year Kelly is preparing for the Vitality Hockey Women's World Cup in London in July/August - and future goals include being a part of the FIH Pro-League Umpiring Panel for the new competition due to launch in January 2019.

Avenues Physio-Fitness is excited to award Kelly with a Senior Athlete Sponsorship for the 2018/19 year to help her achieve her goals. 



Courtney Ryan is a 15 year old passionate about rowing. She currently attends Tauranga Girls College and her rowing trophy cabinet has been growing quickly over the last few years. In the last three years she has gained three North Island Championship golds in the U15 pairs, U15 quads and the U18 quad and one bronze. Just this year she gained a gold medal and silver medal in the North Island Secondary School Championships in the U16 quad and U16 pairs, which led her to Maadi cup in Twizel and came away the NZ champions in the girls U16 quad. Courtney's goal this year is to be able to make it into the North Island U18 team or Junior Rowing team. Avenues Physio-Fitness is proud to support Courtney in achieving her goals and has awarded her a Development Sponsorship Package for the 2018 year.
