Join us in the Avenues Physio-Fitness Studio to achieve your fitness goals, complement your rehabilitation plan and move your body in a fun, safe and meaningful way.

All of our classes are held by Physiotherapists, which means you will be receiving a tailored approach to your fitness and exercise classes. This provides an extra level of safety and expertise for clients who are rehabilitating an injury, returning to exercise, or wanting to take their fitness to the next level.

Pilates

Pilates focuses on precision and control of the body's movements to improve body awareness, coordination and strength.

Clinical Pilates combines classic Pilates with the expert skills of physiotherapists. Physiotherapists are specifically trained in understanding the body which provides an extra level of safety for clients who are currently rehabilitating, returning to exercise after an injury or are wanting to take their fitness to the next level.

Pilates offers a full body workout which offers many health benefits including:
- Improved strength and flexibility - with specific focus on the core, gluteals, shoulders and pelvis
- Enhanced posture, balance and body awareness
- Injury prevention

Strength & Conditioning

Transform your fitness and strength to another level with these fun and supportive classes.

This group class, run by Physiotherapists combines interval style cardio with functional strength, all at your own pace. Suitable for any fitness level with progressions for the advanced athlete and plenty of alternatives for the beginner. Our strength and conditioning class is great for sports specific or pre-season training or if you are recovering from an injury- you work at your own intensity.

We incorporate a range of equipment like steps, weights, resistance bands, suspension trainers as well as others to provide you with a fun and well balanced strength and conditioning class.

Yoga

Yoga is a full body experience combining movement and breathing to relax the mind, improve flexibility and build strength.

Yoga promotes harmonisation of connecting to ourselves, by promoting an overall balanced lifestyle of health and wellbeing. We can bring our bodies from a state of turbulence to a place of health for optimal physical functioning.

Our classes are designed for any age and ability and no previous yoga experience if required.

Some of the health benefits include:
- Increased muscular strength and joint flexibility
- Improved balance
- Reduced stress and anxiety

What to bring

- Water bottle
- Towel
- Yoga/Pilates mat if you have one, although we do have mats for you to use if needed
- Trainers/good quality shoes (only for Strength and Conditioning)

Avenues Physio-Fitness is committed to providing a quality, safe and enjoyable class experience. Our class numbers are limited to 8 people. Please ensure that you book ahead as these classes are popular and fill up fast.

All appointments not cancelled within 4 hours of the class will be charged the equivalent of your group class rate.
